“Marketing is too important to be left to the marketing department.” – David Packard
Marketing connects people with opportunities to move them forward in the world. Marketing makes solving every-day problems possible—by shaping ideas into viable products, by optimizing innovation into something useable by consumers, by taking a brand-new way of doing something and helping the world understand how that might help them.
Marketing is how people get every day problems solved. And marketing helps inventors and innovators make an impact on the world.
Without marketing, you wouldn’t know about what might be fun to do tonight or how to get your broken phone fixed or which car is most cost-effective for you.
And without marketing, an innovator wouldn’t know how to get their new way of doing something out into the world as a consumable product or service.
Marketing is the bridge between innovation and an individual’s world.
I believe that excellent marketing helps make your dreams come true and your passions come to life.
Something to think about this week: how are each of us using marketing to make our customers dreams come true?
